Other language versions of makeZip can be created with this tool: http://www.kalab.com/freeware/makezip/wsedit.zip If you have created a new makzip.stm file with support of another language please mail it to me so I can include the language in makeZip.

Instructions

makeZip only supports Drag & Drop. Files and Folders must be dropped onto the makeZip window.

Also a ZIP file can be created with a right mouse click on any folder.

self-extracting ZIP archives (.EXE files)

makeZip supports selfextracting archives. That means that you don't need an Unzip program to unzip the archive.

ZIP to EXE

You can create a selfextracting EXE file from a ZIP file by doing a right mouse click onto a ZIP file in the Explorer and selecting ZIP -> EXE.

Command line arguments for selfextracting archives

The following command line arguments are supported:

   -o:             overwrite files without any warnings
   -n:             don't display a dialog to
                   specify destination directory
   -d<Directory>:  extract to <Directory>

Example:

   SomeArchive.exe -n -o -dC:\Tools
